Christine Wei
Principal & Founder


Christine is an industry veteran with over 20 years of experience in marketing and channel development with emerging companies. She is a serial woman entrepreneur and is recognized for her strong support for women in leadership. Her focus is in launching products to market with expertise in developing business plans, go-to-market plans and strategies, conducting competitive analysis, executing marketing programs and developing channel partnerships to support business goals.

She most recently served as Director of Channel Marketing at Fox Technologies, Inc., an enterprise security software company, where she was responsible for building the entire U.S. and Asia channel infrastructure and rolling out the worldwide channel partner program. Prior to this position, she was the Director of Channel Partner Marketing at IPLocks, a database security software company. She was responsible for building worldwide channel partnerships and developing channel marketing programs with strategic partners such as BMC Software, Syscom in Japan, Decillion in Singapore and BI C&S in Korea.

Before IPLocks, Christine co-founded CastaLink, a supply chain software company. As the VP of Marketing, she was instrumental in building the company from an unknown startup into an emerging leader tracked by industry analysts and the press. Prior to co-founding her own company, she had held different product manager positions with Computer Curriculum Corporation and AI Research Corporation. As a Product Manager, she was responsible for developing marketing strategies, launching products to market, developing marketing and demand generation programs, and creating all necessary collateral.

Christine holds an M.B.A. from San Francisco State University and a B.A. from University of California, Berkeley.


Albert Lee
Principal


With over 20 years of experience, Albert is a seasoned sales and business development executive who has helped European and Asian companies build revenue through joint ventures and partnerships in China, Taiwan, Singapore and Indonesia. He also led a successful IPO in Taiwan.

He was the Vice President of H2Micro, a Swedish startup that designs and manufactures video/audio/data servers. He championed the relationship with a new contract manufacturer and drove the co-development of products.
Before H2Micro, Albert was the special assistant to Vice Chairman of 3CEMS, a $550M subsidiary of First International Computer (FIC), that provides PC manufacturing services to Intel, Dell, HP, eMachine, Canon, Creative, Lexmark. Yahoo Japan and Lenovo.

Previously, Albert was the Vice President of Lite Vision Corp., a Lite-On Group company that is a worldwide leader in LED displays. He established joint-venture companies in China, Singapore, and Indonesia with major projects that included the Flight Information System for the Taiwan CKS International Airport, the largest outdoor LED display in Shanghai for Shanghai TV Station, 100meters sq. LED display for the World Trade Center and the LED Traffic Light System in Singapore, the passenger information display for the Hong Kong Railway, as well as the LED score board for the Dunlop Phoenix Golf Tournament in Japan.

Albert also held the President position for Alpha Tech Corp. based in Taiwan, one of the pioneer companies that developed industry first small footprint PC. He held other senior positions with German company, Siemens and French company, Thomson CSF.

Michael Chen
Principal

Michael is a seasoned product marketing and product management professional with more than 20 years of experience in the security, telecommunications and enterprise computing industries. Michael held key marketing and management positions at VeriSign, McAfee, Adobe Systems, Lucent Technologies, Clarent Corporation and Digital Equipment Corporation where he was responsible for managing and growing product lines that generated annual revenues ranging from $50M to over $300M.

He is recognized for his expertise in strategic marketing and product lifecycle management in diversified industry segments. While heading up the product marketing organization at Clarent Corporation, he developed and implemented a product management process that resulted in improved on-time delivery of new releases and the winning of an $11M deal, the largest single-deal sale in company history. He also led the successful development and launch of many industry-leading solutions at VeriSign, McAfee and Lucent Technologies.

Michael holds a B.S. with honor in electrical engineering from Northeastern University.


Byron Lai
Principal

With a unique background in web design and information technology, Byron has designed and built many complex websites that integrate the front end design with back end networks and databases. He is experienced in building B2B websites with integrated workflow, content management, search engine optimization and reporting capabilities.

Throughout his career, Byron has worked on multiple projects where he was responsible for both the software and hardware architectures. He has developed a core set of Data Transformation Packages to import supply chain data from distributors, suppliers and retailers into SQL Data Warehouse, designed and implemented multiple intranets for various companies such as McAfee and integrated a cross-browser dynamic menu with Broadvision’s Content Management System.

Earlier in his career, he was with Hewlett Packard and led different teams to implement projects such as the HP Shopping Village’s online product configurator and an internet-based reverse logistics online transaction system that processed $800 million in returns.

Byron holds a M.S. in Information Systems from Carnegie Mellon University and a B.S. from University of California, Los Angeles.
